Our teaching location is Lake Ainsworth, Lennox Head and Shaws Bay, Ballina. These location are extremely safe and are exposed to all prevailing wind directions, making it possible to teach all year round. Also because of our mild to warm climate, the customers can participate year round.

Intermediate Sailors who want more challenging conditions can use the Ballina River Mouth.
The small waves and flat water make for exciting new manouvers, if you are into speed: drag race your friends down along the porpoise wall in the river.

If you want to sail in the waves, Lennox Head is another popular spot in the the spring and summer. It is exposed beautifully to N-NE Breezes. Jumping on a port tack!

On a Southerly wind the premier spot is Flat Rock near Ballina: down the line wave sailing, this a natural footers deram. Jumping on a starbourd tack.
You will experience more Southerlies in the Autumn Months and through winter. On a big Day here it is not for the faint hearted.
If you want to sail one the best bump and jump blasting locations on the east ocast of Australia, check out Byron Bay! It really blows well here in the spring months! as early as July it will start blowing. Plenty of Marine Life: Turtles, Whales, Dolphins, Rays and more! NW - N - NE winds suit this area.
What you will notice about this area is you can sail in every direction.
