Kiteboarding Lessons and Hire Packages

Windnwater offers packages for everyone. From group lessons held through the week for travellers and for those people with a busy work schedule we offer weekend courses. If you want personalized one-on-one instruction, or have a private group, we can customize a kiting package that is right for you.

All lessons are 2 students maximum per instructor

 

2 hour Package: $180 "great course to get the taste for the sport"

• Start between 10am and 1 pm daily depending on conditions
• Weather - Location - Safety
• Trainer kite - wind window - kite steering
• Kite set up - 4 line and or 5 line
• Kite flying skills - re-launching - Self rescue - self landing and assisted Landing
• Body dragging down wind

4 hour package: $340 "great value course for the fast learners"

• Start between 10am and 1 pm daily depending on conditions
• Weather - Location - Safety
• Trainer kite - wind window - kite steering
• Kite set up - 4 line and or 5 line
• Kite flying skills - re-launching - Self rescue - self landing and assisted Landing
• Body dragging down wind - left and right
• Kite set up - bigger kite - rigging practice unassisted
• Launching, landing and re-launching unassisted
• Advanced body dragging / cross wind body dragging and board retrieval
• Pick up and carry board
• Water start theory - put the board on your feet for your first ride!

6 hour package: $480 "most popular package"

• Start between 10am and 1 pm daily depending on conditions
• The average amount of time required by 90% of my 4000 students over the past 10 years to get on the board riding is about 6 - 8 hours
• Guaranteed to be testing your board skills with this package
• Under constant supervision by one of our highly trained instructors

8 hour package: $600 "from start to finish, come away a completely independent kiteboarder"

• Start between 10am and 1 pm daily depending on conditions
• You are now on the board after a few of days learning the basics - practice with professional coaching and assistance of our highly skilled instructors
• Refine your riding skills - upwind riding
• Now you are ready to buy your own equipment and Join our V.I.P programme (12 months unlimited coaching when you purchase a full set of gear)

Private Lessons: $120 per hour - If you want to customize a lesson to suit your time restraints and needs, we can arrange personalized instruction.
